Christmas For The Cause at Brambleton Town Center Sales to Benefit Cherry Blossom
Two years ago Leesburg resident, Holly, was diagnosed with breast cancer. A mother of five with a full-time job, Holly’s insurance initially indicated she was covered for the operation, but shortly before the scheduled procedure her claim was denied. Like many women, Holly now found herself without insurance and in need of a life-saving operation.
Holly contacted The Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation, who immediately went to work on her behalf, stepped in with financial aid and secured the needed operation.
Holly’s family has been in the Christmas tree business for thirty years, selling trees in the Herndon area. The family’s desire was to thank The Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation for saving Holly’s life with a yearly fundraiser for their cause. Last year, the family approached the leadership at the Brambleton community to sell trees. The Brambleton Town Center was elated to sponsor a tree-sales fundraiser with all proceeds going to the Cherry Blossom Breast Cancer Foundation. The first year of Christmas For The Cause was a great success with proceeds of $3,200.00 going to the foundation.
Tree sales are again set up at the Brambleton Town Center, with all proceeds once again going to our foundation, so please stop buy and support a great cause.
